Lindsay (Scrubber) Dickenson Sinclair


Born Junee, NSW 16 August 1928.
Died Canberra 15 December 2017, age 89 years.


Passed away peacefully at Mountain View, Canberra, after a long illness, surrounded by family and carers. Formerly of Eurongilly, Sydney and PNG.


Son of Bertrand Lindsay Bevan Sinclair (dec) and Ethel Hilda Hill (dec). Brother of Ray and Thelma (dec).


Husband of Pamela Alice Sinclair (dec), father and father-in-law of Robyn and Peter Major, Tony Sinclair and Cherie Oliver; Grandfather of Brian Davis and Annya Newman; Emily and Brendan Searl, Leilani Sinclair and Kyle Sinclair. Great grandfather of Jaxon, Chase and Grace.


Family and friends are warmly invited to attend a Memorial Gathering to celebrate Dick's Life at Mountain View, 301 Goyder Street, Narrabundah on Friday 19 January 2018 at 3pm.


A private interment of his ashes will take place at Mitta Mitta Cemetery, Bennett's Corner, via Junee on Saturday 20 January 2018.
